Serendipity. It's one of my favorite concepts and it guides the discovery of unusual, nostalgic, sometimes odd, and always charming printed images that I up-cycle into wearable works of art.

The images in these pendants are sourced from salvaged books, vintage dictionaries, out-of-date calendars, old greeting cards, and other printed materials that have been diverted from the waste stream.

Each pendant features the original source material ... I don't make copies or shrink down the images. It's the image, as it was found, judiciously cropped to frame it and re-contextualize it as a pendant necklace, bookmark or keychain.

Using only the original source material also means you get a one-of-a-kind piece .... it's a tiny little work of art that expresses a bit of your own personality through a connection with images that evoke memories and fond associations.
